Pinewood Derby

Only a month into scouts and it was time for the Pinewood Derby.  I will attempt to be vague in my feelings about this entire event even though tears were shed the night before it and not by my son!!  However, the most important thing was that Ethan had a fun evening.  For the record, Taylor and he worked on the car together and it was completely legal with the standard wheels etc.  In my mind, it is the same whether you go to someones house to carve the block of wood, or purchase one that is already carved.   Ohhh, the aggravation! 
He won the 007/ SPY award and was pleased as punch about it!
