Dance competitions

This was our first year venturing outside of classical ballet with Carissa and Sophie trying jazz dance at the new studio.  It is recommended so that their dancing style can be more versatile when they are older.  Jazz is only secondary at this studio and simply to train the girls in different technique.  Instead of competitions every weekend, there were only three this year.  I liked just getting our feet wet instead of spending a lot of money to see if they are interested.  They are both really good at it and Carissa even had a solo in the middle of her dance.  Carissa tells us she prefers ballet but Sophie loves the jazz and would do that instead of ballet.  The professional photos will be done in July so here are snapshots.
