Spring Break and Easter

A couple months back, I realized the kids spring break from school coincided with Easter and conference weekend so we planned a trip to a condo in St. George and had Grandma and Grandpa come along for fun. It was relaxing to hang out at the condo and we actually were able to listen to more conference than usual. Here we are on the lawn after a softball game.

Sunday afternoon during conference, the kids used the sidewalk chalk from the Easter bunny and drew Rapunzel with her hair going the length of 2 buildings. They had a blast and it took them over an hour.

Snow canyon is so varied in its colors and rock formations. The kids love climbing around and the different hikes we did.

Our next door neighbors (who are moving soon) had a condo near ours and it was fun to see them a few times over the weekend.

We went over to the temple grounds and despite our best efforts to stay reverent, the kids had a party. Hopefully they will at least have happy memories of the temple.

The kids spent hours coloring and then hung up coloring pages from the Easter coloring book from grandma.










Aunt Dodie and Uncle Bill live close to where we were staying so it was fun to visit with them and see their much talked about dog Austin. That dog was everything I had heard and more. I have never wanted to own a dog but I would love one of this breed. She was so smart, never barked, didn't smell and let the kids maul her. Just before we took the picture, she got up and came over to pose with us. Too bad it is next to impossible to get one.


We had a nice/simple Easter dinner and it was fun to have Grandma and Grandpa along for the weekend. The kids really enjoyed spending time with them.
