We had a lesson on work and the importance of it and as the kids finally understood the point that we were going out in the yard to work as a family, the three oldest cried out, 'Aaagghhhhh' as they ran out of the house. After we all laughed and said we were serious and needed their help to clear out some debris from the yard, we got to work. Taylor used protective eyewear with the chainsaw so Ethan went to get his on... you never can be too safe while digging. Such a cute 7 year old.
Here he is after falling asleep reading a church history book (of all things). When he rarely falls asleep reading, it can be hard to climb up there to turn off his reading light on the top bunk.
