We went to the canyon with friends and just before I bathed Lily, I had to grab the camera to catch how cute she is even when filthy.
None of our other kids grew attached to a blanket so we all find it so cute that Lily loves her 'Deedee'.
Of course we just adore her when clean too:)
Lest this entry be all about Lily, here is a photo of the swim party hosted by Uncle Llamar and his friend Barbara whom we all love. Gabe sat and talked her ear off for over 30 minutes. She is President Benson's daughter so we love to hear her stories and most recently talk about politics and how her dad would feel about our current...situation. She said she ran into Elder L. Tom Perry a week ago at the market and he gave her a hug and said, "Barbara, we need your dad more than ever right now." I know some members weren't happy with President Benson's political views but Deseret Book is republishing a few of his books right now. To think he gave the warnings and insights over 30 years ago regarding communism and socialism is awesome. He was inspired spiritually and in things secular. He is one of my favorite prophets... but then again, how can you have a favorite they are all so great!
