4th of July!

This year, we went to celebrate the 4th at the Freedom Festival in Utah County.  There is a reason it is one of the largest celebrations in the U.S.
We stayed at a hotel only a block away from the Stadium of Fire for two nights so we wouldn't have to fight the traffic.  We started off with the balloon festival at the crack of dawn and breakfast at the Cannon Center with the Kirby, Anderson, and Hammond families.
Then Taylor worked in his office in Provo while the kids and I went to Seven Peaks water park.
We avoided the crowds at the parade and went to the park with the colonial demonstrations and costumes.  They were very authentic and so interesting to see how the first settlers in America lived.  Some of the kids attended 'school'.

Lily had such a festive outfit on but it was so hot!
The fireworks at the Stadium of Fire were really amazing but we didn't bring a camera.  They went on so long that Gabe fell asleep.  We had a great time with Taylor's brothers families and their kids.  The cousins especially had fun.
