The Nutcracker

Carissa and Sophie were in their studio's production of 'The Nutcracker" this year.  They danced in about seven different parts between the two of them.  It was beautiful. 

The added bonus was that they needed boys to be in the party scene and oriental servants.  The clothes barely fit Gabe.  They all did a great job.

The party scene is a long one and Gabe needed to go to the bathroom the last night.  His dancing was especially spirited and Taylor and I chuckled through it.  I raced backstage to take out the dozen pins that were holding up his pants to help him as soon as his scene was done.  This picture was taken backstage before his performance and I don't know why I didn't notice!  Love those knickers!
